How to read a bin code, and how to update one in FACTS.
A standard bin code is built from four parts, read left to right — widest area first, narrowing down to the exact shelf.
So 101A01 is Warehouse 1, Aisle 01, Section A, Row 01, and
1US3C3 is Warehouse 1, Area US3, Section C, Row 3.
Some areas and zones don’t need a section or a row — a jobber bin like
1JB301 is just Warehouse 1, Jobber Bin 3, position 01. Others are a single
named code with no warehouse digit at all (see Named codes below).

Primary is the main pick location. Alt 1–5 are for overstock and showroom stock.
These aren’t shelf positions — they record a status or a whole area.
